Write for Us / Advertise

Rabbit Community is a growing resource for rabbit owners, rescuers and anyone who cares about small pets. Our readers are looking for practical, trustworthy advice, and many of them are in the United States. If you have something genuinely useful to share with them, we would love to hear from you.

This page explains what we accept, what we don’t, and how the process works.

What We Offer

Guest Posts

Write an original article for our blog. Guest posts are a great way to share your expertise with rabbit owners and to introduce your brand or project to our audience.

Sponsored Articles

We publish sponsored articles written by you or your team. Every sponsored article must be useful to our readers first. Promotion should be subtle and relevant.

Link Insertions

If one of our existing articles is a natural fit for your resource, we can add a contextual link inside it. We review each request individually.

Topics We Accept

We publish content related to:

  • Rabbit care, health, nutrition and behavior
  • Housing, enrichment and rabbit-proofing
  • Veterinary care, emergency preparation and finding exotic vets
  • Pet sitting, boarding, grooming and travel with pets
  • Rescue, adoption and rabbit communities
  • Small pet and general pet care topics
  • Pet products, services, apps and tools that are useful to owners

If your idea is not on the list but is helpful to pet owners, send it anyway and we will take a look.

Topics We Don’t Accept

To protect the trust of our readers, we do not publish content about:

  • Gambling, betting or casino sites
  • Adult content
  • Cryptocurrency, trading or get-rich-quick schemes
  • Payday loans, CBD or medical claims we cannot verify
  • Anything unrelated to pets, animals or our readers’ interests
  • Content that promotes cruelty or unsafe animal care

Content Guidelines

All submissions must meet the following standards:

  1. Original content. The article must be unique and not published anywhere else, online or offline. We may run plagiarism checks.
  2. Helpful and accurate. Write for rabbit owners. Advice about health or care must be correct and, where needed, point readers to a veterinarian.
  3. Length. We recommend 800 to 1,500 words. Longer, in-depth guides are welcome.
  4. Quality writing. Clear headings, short paragraphs and proper grammar. Content that reads like a sales page or is written only for SEO will be rejected.
  5. Links. One or two relevant links to your site are usually allowed. Links must point to trustworthy websites. We reserve the right to remove links we consider spammy.
  6. Images. If you include images, you must own the rights to them or have permission to use them. We may add our own images.
  7. Editing. We may edit the article for clarity, style and to meet our standards. Major changes will be discussed with you first.
  8. Exclusivity. The published article will not be republished on another site without our permission.

Disclosure and Links

We are transparent with our readers.

  • Sponsored articles are clearly labeled as sponsored.
  • Links in paid content are marked with the appropriate rel attribute (for example, rel=”sponsored”), in line with Google’s guidelines for paid links.
  • We do not publish paid content disguised as independent editorial.
  • Published posts remain live unless they violate our guidelines or the information becomes outdated or inaccurate.

Pricing

Rates depend on the type of content, the length and the placement. Send us your idea and we will reply with a quote. Guest posts that are purely editorial and meet our standards may be considered without a fee, at our discretion.

How It Works

  1. Send your pitch. Email us the topic or title, a short outline, the type of collaboration (guest post, sponsored article or link insertion) and your website.
  2. We review and reply. We usually respond within 3 to 5 business days. If it’s a good fit, we will confirm the topic and share rates and requirements.
  3. Send your draft. Share your article as a Google Doc or Word file. We will review it and let you know if edits are needed.
  4. Invoice and payment. For paid placements, we send an invoice. Payment is due before publication.
  5. We publish. Once the draft is approved and payment is received, we publish the article and send you the live link.
  6. Updates. If you need a small change to your published post later, contact us and we will help.
